Why This Yakima Guide Exists
No single Yakima office holds every useful record. The Yakima County Auditor, Recording Division handles deeds and recorded marriage material; the County Clerk maintains Superior Court files; and the Assessor connects parcels with taxpayers and owners. City-created administrative records go through the Yakima City Clerk, while the Yakima Health District and Washington Department of Health provide different vital-record routes. State court, licensing, corporation, and archive systems add still more paths. We organize those official tools, contacts, and access limits in one reference.
What This Resource Covers
- Pages organized by source: public records, voter registration records, and local directories
- Yakima custodians: the County Auditor, County Clerk, Assessor, Elections office, City Clerk, and vital-record offices
- Practical search guidance: using a court party-name index, tracing parcel ownership, and locating historical directory collections
- Washington access boundaries: what is open, what is protected, and how chapter 42.56 RCW requests work for identifiable records that are not posted
Limits of Our Role
Yakima People Search is a privately operated reference site, not part of the City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington State, any court, or any records office. Those boundaries mean:
- We do not retrieve, certify, or amend official records
- We cannot verify that a named person currently lives in Yakima
- We have no ability to delete entries from agency records or outside databases
- We do not provide legal advice or interpret a record for a particular matter
- We cannot promise that every portal, fee, procedure, or office detail remains unchanged
Verification, certified copies, and corrections must come from the responsible custodian. This site and its linked tools may not be used for credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or other FCRA-regulated decisions.
